John came to Shreveport in January of 1977 when he was transferred to Barksdale AFB.

He’s been active in Shreveport politics since deciding to make Shreveport his home.

John practiced law for 40 years and he now monitors local politics. He regularly attends Shreveport City Council and Caddo Parish Commission meetings.

John is published weekly in The Inquisitor, bi-monthly in The Forum News, and frequently in the Shreveport Times.

He enjoys addressing civic groups on local government issues and elections.

THE INQUISITOR IS NOW OWNED BY SETTLE TALK

As of 12:01 a.m. Friday (October 11th) ownership of The Inquisitor has been transferred to Settle Talk. The issue on the stands tomorrow (Friday) was the last publication by Danny Lawler Enterprises.

The format of the paper will remain basically the same. Like it or not, crime sells!

The staff of the paper are now employees of Settle Talk.

Starting next Friday (Oct. 18) there will be much more coverage of Caddo/Shreveport politics.

And hopefully a freelance reporter will help with coverage of Bossier politics.

More columns of local interest will be added for local sports, hunting/fishing, local organizations, and the like.

Breaking new stories will also be a high priority.

Reader input as to additional columns, freelance writers and columnists, and advertisers is welcomed.
