EXPENSE FOR BOX AROUND CONFEDERATE MONUMENT IS MONEY WELL SPENT

The Caddo Commission is completing the construction of a protective box around the Confederate Monument located at the Caddo courthouse.The costs for this project are estimated to be approximately $20,000.The "Box" will remain in place until the monument is relocated.

Caddo Parish Administrator De. Woodrow Wilson sent out the following Thursday:  Commissioners, please be advised that we have run into some technical issues concerning the immediate construction of the protective structure around the monument at the Caddo Parish Courthouse.

CADDO COMMISSION SPECIAL MEETING: PROTECTIVE STRUCTURE AROUND CONFEDERATE MONUMENT AND FACE MASK AGE CHANGED

The Caddo Commission held a special meeting today Tuesday. On an 11-1 vote, the commission administration was directed to build a protective box around the Confederate Monument on the Caddo Parish court house grounds. The box is to be completed by Friday midnight.

COURT GRANTS ORDER APPROVING PRELIMINARY PARTIAL CLASS ACTION SETTLEMENT

Last week, Caddo Parish District Court Judge Michael Pitman issued a ruling granting preliminary approval of a partial settlement of $5,900,000.00 for overcharges on Shreveport water and sewer bills.
