Council District A now has a new council member.  Tabitha Taylor was sworn this morning.Caddo Juvenile Judge Ree Casey administered the oath of office.  Tabitha’s mom Linda S. Taylor held the family Bible.Congratulations to Tabitha!!

IS ANYONE ELSE AS CONFUSED AS I AM?

These are confusing times. What are you allowed to do? Where are you allowed to go? Who can you talk to, and who do you avoid? If you are in a crowded store (grocery) and someone coughs, do you hold your breath? There is no argument that this coronavirus is horrible.

SHREVEPORT CITY COURT REOPENS MONDAY

Shreveport City Court will open May 18, 2020 and resume normal hours of operation. The Shreveport City Court will be following all Phase One guidelines as set forth by Governor John Bel Edwards. Starting Monday, May 18, 2020, there will be new procedures to follow while in the courthouse.

BOSSIER PARISH COURTHOUSE OPENS MONDAY

Doors to the Bossier Parish Courthouse will be open to the public Monday, May 18 at 8 a.m., and precautions will be in place that will follow Gov. John Bel Edwards’ mandates due to concerns over COVOD 19.

PUBLIC EMPLOYEES RETURNING TO WORK?

Hopefully local public employees will return to work on Monday May 18.Those that use COVID-19 as excuse to not return to work should be quarantined in their homes until they return to work.
