Earlier this year Shreveport councilman Grayson Boucher pushed to amend Shreveport’s out-dated liquor ordinance to allow sales in grocery stores.Shreveport is the only city in the state that does not allow hard liquor to be sold along with beer and wine in grocery stores.

AIRPORT AUTHORITY DOWN TO 8 CANDIDATES FOR DIRECTOR

The Shreveport Airport Authority board now has 8 resumes for the open authority director position.Well–at least two of the fivc members do—Waynette Ballengee and Jonathan Reynolds.The position has been open since embattled director Henry Thompson resigned on Jan. 8 of this year.

CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENTS ON THE OCTOBER BALLET
