It’s not rocket science. Political yard signs can NOT be placed on public property, the area between the sidewalk and the street, or empty lots without the permission of the landowner. Geez—if a candidate is to hold public office, can they not follow a simple ordinance.

Standard and Poor’s just issued its new rating for upcoming Shreveport bond issues. The Water and Sewer Revenue Refunding Bonds are rated A-. This rating is for senior-lien revenue bonds. The refinancing of these bonds will save the city approximately $8 million.
