Commission Prez Brags About Big Cross Lake Home & Credit Rating

It’s a regular occurrence at commission meetings when Caddo Commission president Greg Young lectures his fellow commissioners, rattles on about his personal life, and educates the world on his justifications for his Commission votes.

At the Commission work session on Monday (Oct. 19), Commission Prez Greg advised the Commission, the chamber audience and the streaming world that he owned a 4,000-square-foot home on Cross Lake.

Young also advised everyone that he had a perfect credit rating of 900.

I do NOT live in Prez Greg’s commission district.

I do NOT care what his credit rating is or how big his crib may be.

I seriously doubt that Prez Greg’s constituents in his primarily rural district care about the credit rating or the size/location of his mansion.

In fact, I could surmise that many of those who will vote in the Commission elections next year may find Commissioner Greg’s boasting offensive.

If I lived in that district, I surely would along with his support for the southeast Shreveport pickleball complex many, many miles from his district as well as the proposed sports complex which if approved will be built a long ways from rural Caddo parish.
