NEW EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, NEW BOARD AND NEW DIGS FOR BOSSIER ARTS COUNCIL


The Bossier Arts Council (BAC) is back open for business.

The ribbon has just been cut at the new location at the Boardwalk
A new executive director was announced-- Amber Dawn Landrum.

A new board is in place -
  Emerie Holtzclaw - President
   Joe Pease - Treasurer
   Lynn Laird - Secretary
   Shantll Jordan - Board Member
   Andy Shehee - Board Member
   Amber Dawn Landrum - Executive Director

The spacious area, approximately 7000 square feet, will be the new location until the end of 2026 and possibly longer.

Currently an art show has been hung and plans for future monthly activities are in place with summer camps scheduled for the Boardwalk and satellite locations.

The four-person staff is “on go” for a restart of this Bossier institution entering its 46th year.

The East Bank Theatre will continue under BAC with a production scheduled for LIVE! Casino, which will also host the annual ARTini fundraiser.

The Board is diligently working to have the delinquent financial reports filed with the Louisiana Legislative Auditor to qualify BAC for future city, state and federal funding grants.

Yes, the BAC Phoenix has risen which is a big positive for Bossier and the entire Shreveport-Bossier community.
