Property Standards Violation/Poor Leadership Example

    This building is in the 700 block of Texas Street.
     
    The building’s crumbling façade violates the Shreveport downtown property standards code.
     
    The building owner is the president of the Downtown Development Authority (DDA.)
     
    The DDA tax renewal is next week’s Nov. 3 ballot.
     
    So much for a leadership example by the DDA president.
     
    And that's a good  reason to vote “NO” on the tax renewal.
