Amy Brainard ran unopposed for the Shreveport city court seat vacated by Brian Barber when he became the U.S. Marshal for the Western District of Louisiana.
 
Heather Courtney ran unopposed for the upcoming Caddo District seat of retiring Judge Mike Pittman.
 
Shreveport attorney Trey Morris contributed the maximum of $6,000 to each campaign.
 
Brainard had total contributions of $36,250 and ended with a campaign balance after expenses of $5,789.
 
Courtney had contributions of $18,750 and ended with a campaign balance after expenses of $1,707.
 
Both candidates loaned money to their campaigns which they repaid. Brainard loaned $50 thousand and Courtney $100,000.
