One of the complaints of some people objecting to the proposed data center is the undisclosed identity of the developer of the proposed Shreveport data center. Geez—why does that matter? Seriously.

It’s just bad media journalism. The KTBS website features a news story captioned “Northwest Louisiana offers 25-year tax breaks to lure hyperscale data centers.” Unfortunately, the picture at the top of the news story shows a resident holding an opposition sign to the council proposal.
