John came to Shreveport in January of 1977 when he was transferred to Barksdale AFB.

He’s been active in Shreveport politics since deciding to make Shreveport his home.

John practiced law for 40 years and he now monitors local politics. He regularly attends Shreveport City Council and Caddo Parish Commission meetings.

John is published weekly in The Inquisitor, bi-monthly in The Forum News, and frequently in the Shreveport Times.

He enjoys addressing civic groups on local government issues and elections.

 

BLANCHARD WANTS $1.1M TO UPSIZE WATER SYSTEM

The Town of Blanchard has asked the Caddo Parish Commission for $1.1 million in funding for constructing water facilities improvements in north central Caddo Parish.

The town recently received $3,693,200 in funding from the Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) to construct a water transmission main that will consolidate the Bel-Di-Gil (Belcher, Dixie and Gilliam) Water System into the town’s water system.
