John came to Shreveport in January of 1977 when he was transferred to Barksdale AFB.

He’s been active in Shreveport politics since deciding to make Shreveport his home.

John practiced law for 40 years and he now monitors local politics. He regularly attends Shreveport City Council and Caddo Parish Commission meetings.

John is published weekly in The Inquisitor, bi-monthly in The Forum News, and frequently in the Shreveport Times.

He enjoys addressing civic groups on local government issues and elections.

 

EVERY DOG HAS HIS DAY AT LOCAL PARK

This is “dog park” weather! The dogs are frisky, and their owners are looking for a reason to go outside, too. Whether you are a dog owner or just a dog lover, you can have a great time at the dog park on the riverfront.

It is surprising to hear that so many have never ventured over to the Stoner Boat Launch area to see the dogs frolicking in the almost four-acre dog park. A co-worker recently discovered the delights of watching the dogs at play on a Saturday morning drive with her elderly mother and aunt. Now it has become one of their favorite Saturday morning entertainment stops as they watch from the comforts of their vehicle.
