John came to Shreveport in January of 1977 when he was transferred to Barksdale AFB.

He’s been active in Shreveport politics since deciding to make Shreveport his home.

John practiced law for 40 years and he now monitors local politics. He regularly attends Shreveport City Council and Caddo Parish Commission meetings.

John is published weekly in The Inquisitor, bi-monthly in The Forum News, and frequently in the Shreveport Times.

He enjoys addressing civic groups on local government issues and elections.

 

WOOD CAMPAIGN: $73,000 IN LOAN THROUGH OCT. 14

Paul Wood is a candidate for Shreveport City Judge. His opponents are Emily Merckle  and Edward Mouton.

The latest campaign report filed by Wood is for the period of Sept. 25 through Oct. 14.

The report shows loans in that period of $25,000. That brings the total loans by Woods  to his campaign. of $73,000.

Wood reported expenses during the reporting period of almost $32,000.

His campaign funds on hand as of Oct. 14  was a little over $7,000.
