John came to Shreveport in January of 1977 when he was transferred to Barksdale AFB.

He’s been active in Shreveport politics since deciding to make Shreveport his home.

John practiced law for 40 years and he now monitors local politics. He regularly attends Shreveport City Council and Caddo Parish Commission meetings.

John is published weekly in The Inquisitor, bi-monthly in The Forum News, and frequently in the Shreveport Times.

He enjoys addressing civic groups on local government issues and elections.

 

CADDO TO RESUME MEAL PROGRAM WITH MODIFICATIONS

On Monday, March 30, Caddo’s Child Nutrition staff will resume breakfast and lunch meal service with modifications to limit contact and decrease risk for both students and staff.

At 18 sites, staff will have 8 meals prepared for each child to collect for the week. The meal packages will include five breakfasts and three lunches. Meals will be distributed from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Monday at the following sites:

1. Blanchard Elementary

2. C.E. Byrd High

3. Caddo Heights Elementary

4. Caddo Magnet High

5. Caddo Middle Magnet

6. Captain Shreve High

7. J. S. Clark Elementary

8. Fair Park Middle

9. Keithville Elementary/Middle

10. North Caddo Elementary/Middle

11. Northside Elementary

12. Ridgewood Middle

13. Southern Hills Elementary

14. Turner Elem/Middle

15. University Elementary

16. Walnut Hill Elementary/Middle

17. Westwood Elementary

18. Woodlawn High

This revised meal program allows the district to continue meal service while limiting contact. The district’s plan has been reviewed by state officials and approved to proceed. Additionally, the district has requested adequate protective supplies from state offices such as masks for workers as part of distribution efforts.
