It is a pleasure to write this column for you in a new newspaper for our area. I do not want to always live the past; however, I have spent more time there than I have in the future, and “history does repeat itself,” maybe dressed a little different, but it does.
I commend the Ark-La-Tex for complying with the directions of change that we have. Most of the moves that we have had to make are based on what is best for our area and nation and not on what individuals want, and that is as it should be. As we look back over the past couple of weeks, about the only thing that is constant is the time of day and the day of the week. These adjustments are made for the “mass of the people, not for a few,” and that is positive.
