IS SHREVEPORT AIRPORT DIRECTOR ON LEAVE DURING COVID-19?

The following public records request was made to Wade Davis, the Shreveport Airport Authority Director:

“Please provide the following
1.Parking lot loss of revenues YTD
2.Anticipated parking lot revenues for remainder of year
3.Loss of boarding revenues YTD
4.Anticipated boarding loss revenues for remainder of year
5.ID other non government sources of revenues, loss YTD and anticipated loss for remainder of year
6.ID all COVID funds received or expected to be received from CARES Act and other sources
Thanks”

The response provided to Germine Mathis, assistant city attorney , was that “the Airport has no documentation related to the information Mr. Settle is requesting.”

Seemingly somebody at the airport authority has some of the info requested. If not, then maybe the entire staff should resign post haste.

The airport authority board members are Waynette Ballengee, Johnathan Reynolds, Mary Jackson, Margaret Shehee and Oliver Jenkins. Hopefully these board members read this column and investigate.

A more detailed public records request has now been made to ascertain the validity of the above response.
