John came to Shreveport in January of 1977 when he was transferred to Barksdale AFB.

He’s been active in Shreveport politics since deciding to make Shreveport his home.

John practiced law for 40 years and he now monitors local politics. He regularly attends Shreveport City Council and Caddo Parish Commission meetings.

John is published weekly in The Inquisitor, bi-monthly in The Forum News, and frequently in the Shreveport Times.

He enjoys addressing civic groups on local government issues and elections.

 

SHREVEPORT'S ENVIRONMENTAL COURT STARTS TUESDAY

The first session of Shreveport's long-awaited Environment Court will convene on Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. in the chambers at Government Plaza.

The case docket has five cases of inoperable vehicles on the premises.

All these cases were initially cited on Nov. 26, 1999.

This court summons lists property addresses. Both the owners of the properties as well as the occupants are responsible for compliance with court orders.

The cited properties are:

6330 Garden Oaks Drive (2 citations)

2166 Freddie Street

2129 Pearl Street (2 citations)

The Inquisitor will report the court rulings in the March 19 issue and will continue to run court dockets and court rulings.
