John came to Shreveport in January of 1977 when he was transferred to Barksdale AFB.

He’s been active in Shreveport politics since deciding to make Shreveport his home.

John practiced law for 40 years and he now monitors local politics. He regularly attends Shreveport City Council and Caddo Parish Commission meetings.

John is published weekly in The Inquisitor, bi-monthly in The Forum News, and frequently in the Shreveport Times.

He enjoys addressing civic groups on local government issues and elections.

 

‘CRITICAL MASS’ RETURNS MARCH 24

We’ve reached Critical MASS!

This annual event has new Covid Precautions.

In it’s ninth year, “Critical MASS” returns to prove -- despite everything 2020 threw at them -- creatives will prevail! Experience more than 125 works from an active, producing community of visual, performing and literary artists. Northwest Louisiana Artists will be competing for a Critic’s Choice $2,000 prize and to create a new body of work to be exhibited and performed at artspace for critical review.
