The Caddo Commission contracted with five local nonprofit organizations to process applications for the Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP). These moneys are federal dollars allocated to the state and disbursed by Caddo Parish.
The response to a public records request provides some information on the efforts of these groups.
Catholic Charites last report was filed in Dec. 2021. It shows that 205 out of 279 applications were approved for funding. That is an approval percentage of 73.4%.
Catholic Charities was paid $24,620 by the Commission in 2021 for ERAP processing.
Northwest Louisiana Community Development Corporation's last filed report was in May 2021. It reflects that 253 out of 376 applications were approved. This is an approval percentage of 67.2%.
This agency was paid $27,400 by the Commission in 2021.
United Way's last report was filed in Nov. 2021. It shows that 9 out of 21 applications were approved for funding. This is an approval percentage of 42.8%.
United Way was paid $11,260 by the Commission in 2021.
Providence House last filed report was in July 2021. it shows that eight out of 48 applications were approved for funding. This is an approval percentage of 16.6%.
Providence House was paid $11,320 in 2021 by the Commission.
Grace Project's last report was filed in May 2021. It reflects 10 out of 74 applications were approved for funding. This is an approval percentage of 13.5%.
Grace Project was paid $10,600 by the Commission in 2021. Caddo Administrator Dr. Woodrow Wilson reported to the Caddo Commission on Monday, Jan. 18, that Grace Project had failed to remit reports required for the commission funding.
