John came to Shreveport in January of 1977 when he was transferred to Barksdale AFB.

He’s been active in Shreveport politics since deciding to make Shreveport his home.

John practiced law for 40 years and he now monitors local politics. He regularly attends Shreveport City Council and Caddo Parish Commission meetings.

John is published weekly in The Inquisitor, bi-monthly in The Forum News, and frequently in the Shreveport Times.

He enjoys addressing civic groups on local government issues and elections.

 

AIRPORT AUTHORITY EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR TUCKER RESIGNS 

Stephanie Tucker the interim director has resigned her position -- reportedly as of today, Friday Jan.28.

Tucker is from New Orleans and she rented a residence in Shreveport. Her husband never moved to Shreveport. Word on the street is that Tucker has been working from her New Orleans for the last three-four weeks.

Tucker resignation was not announced to the public. 

The Shreveport Airport Authority (SAA)  has been under serious criticisms in recent years, and the subject of litigation that has not gone well with the SAA.

The prior executive directory of the SAA Wade Davis left in the middle of the night after revelations of improprieties.

Davis followed in the footsteps of Henry Thompson, who was the subject of many questions concerning his departure from the San Francisco airport and then his performance as the executive director of SAA.
