John came to Shreveport in January of 1977 when he was transferred to Barksdale AFB.

He’s been active in Shreveport politics since deciding to make Shreveport his home.

John practiced law for 40 years and he now monitors local politics. He regularly attends Shreveport City Council and Caddo Parish Commission meetings.

John is published weekly in The Inquisitor, bi-monthly in The Forum News, and frequently in the Shreveport Times.

He enjoys addressing civic groups on local government issues and elections.

 

TARVER'S 10 DAY REPORT FOR DEC.10 ELECTION REFLECTS BIG BUCKS AND BIG DONORS

Greg Tarver filed this week this 10 Day before Election campaign report. It covers the time period from Oct. 20 through Nov. 20.

Tarver received donations of $122, 915. His campaign expenses during that interval were $98,292.

Tarver had over 20 max contributors of $2500, and approximately half of these from out of Shreveport Bossier area.

Tarver has filed several 48 Hour reports reflecting contributions exceeding $125,000.

Additional reports must be filed through the election of donations received.
