WHY I AM VOTING FOR CRAIG MARCOTTE FOR JUDGE THIS SATURDAY

People decide how to vote based on many factors.

I do not decide my vote based on sex.

I do not decide my vote based on family.

I do not decide my vote based on political party.

I do not decide my vote based on a candidate's personality.

I do not decide my vote based on campaign rhetoric like "tough on crime" or "fighting for children."

I decide my vote on this judgeship based on EXPERIENCE.

I look to EXPERIENCE as a practicing attorney.

I look to EXPERIENCE as a judge.

Craig Marcotte practiced law for 20 years before being elected judge.

Erin Leigh Waddell - Garrett practiced law for 8 years before being elected judge.

Craig has been a judge for 14 years.

Erin Leigh has been a judge for 8 years.

Craig has presided in drug court for 6 years and on the civil bench for 8 years.

Erin Leigh has presided in domestic court for 2 years and in drug court for 6.

Craig has both tried jury trial cases and presided over jury trials.

Erin Leigh has no jury trial experience as an attorney or as judge.

Craig has tried cases in all 20 parishes that are covered by the Second Circuit Court.

Erin Leigh has not tried cases in the 20 parishes.

Additionally, Craig has presided over the drug court program for 14 years and veterans court for 8 years.

Judges on the Second Circuit Court of Appeals decide if rulings by trial judges are correct. The election is this Saturday, March 26.

Yes EXPERIENCE does matter. EXPERIENCE is important. EXPERIENCE is needed on this court.

That's why I am voting for Craig Marcotte for Second Circuit Court of Appeals this Saturday, Mar. 26.
