Was Crawfest contract with city of Shreveport fraudulent?

Crawfest was a three-day event held at Betty Virginia Park.

The city of Shreveport sponsored the event, providing many free services.

Admission was charged to enter Crawfest.

Pinpoint Events, LLC staged Crawfest.

Matt Snyder is the owner of Pinpoint.

The contract executed by Snyder with the city indicates that Pinpoint is a "non-profit corporation."

The records of the Louisiana Secretary of State show that Pinpoint is an Limited Liability Company (LLC), not a corporation.

More importantly the Secretary of State records do NOT indicate that Pinpoint is a non-profit entity.

An email to Snyder inquiring is Pinpoint was a non-profit entity was not answered.

City sponsorship providing many free services to an event that is presented by a "FOR PROFIT" entity that charges an admission fee is NOT good government.

Furthermore, this contract sets a precedence and a very bad one. It also is reflective of shoddy legal work by the city.
