DOES TABATHA TAYLOR REALLY LIVE IN DISTRICT A?

Councilwoman Tabitha Taylor is elected from District A.

Her long time boy friend/paramour is City Attorney Ron Lattier.

Lattier lives in District D.

Word on the street is that Taylor lives with Lattier in District D. In essence that she is resident of District D, not A.

Taylor committed ethics violations in voting to confirm Lattier as city attorney without disclosure of their relationship.

And then she voted to give him a 13% payraise without disclosure.

Lattier is representing Taylor in a personal injury lawsuit. This is a conflict of interest under the Rules of Professional Responsibility since he is city attorney and she is a council member.

Taylor is running for reelection in District A.  She is opposed by Kinsey Montgomery.

Any citizen in District A can file an election challenge against Taylor.

An election challenge must be filed no later than 4:30 p.m. this Friday, July 29.
