Without birthdate or social security number, it is difficult to ascertain if the Baton Rouge Ralph Johnson is the same as the now Shreveport RJ Johnson.
And the vita presented to the council for this position does not have contact info for RJ.
The Baton Rouge Johnson was a board member of the Alcohol Beverage Control.
He was arrested for bribery and extortion by the office of Alcohol and Tobacco Control.
Allegedly he accepted a $1500 check with a promise of additional monthly fees from a business that applied for a liquor permit.
