CADDO PUBLIC SCHOOLS OUT FOR SUMMER SOON--WILL SHREVEPORT SPEED ZONE CAMERAS TAKE THE SUMMER OFF?

Caddo students, teachers and school staff are in countdown for the last day of the current school year, which is May. 19. That's the day most Caddo students have no more school until August.

Some Caddo schools will be open for summer school, starting in June.

The big question is whether or not the Blue Line Solutions school zone speed cameras will be calibrated to shut down when the Shreveport schools are closed for the summer?

Considering all of the logistical problems Blue Line has encountered, one can only wonder.

Hopefully someone at Blue Line has the responsibility to shut the cameras off during the summer break except at the schools that have summer school, and only during those times.
