HOW MANY MORE ELECTED POSITIONS WILL CEDRIC GLOVER HOLD?

He is known as "Big G".

He has served as Shreveport's first African American mayor.

Prior to those eight years, Glover served as the city councilman from District A.

Now Cedric Glover is finishing up eight years as member of the House of Representatives.

Big G termed out as a city councilman.

He termed out as Shreveport mayor.

This year Glover terms out as a House Representative.

So now Big G wants to replace Greg Tarver as State Senator--Tarver is termed out.

Many say Glover has never viewed a public paycheck that he did not covet.

Big G is know for his booming voice and his mastery of political talk, often using many words to say very little.

Glover's record of attendance at the meetings of the Legislature and at committee meetings will certainly be a subject of discussion during his Senate race.

That issue, along with his record of service as a legislator and as mayor, particularly in his second term, will be subject to much-needed public scrutiny.
