DRIPP DONUTS BUILDING SCHEDULED FOR DEMOLITION THIS SUNDAY

The building that formerly housed Dripp Donuts on the corner of Market Street and Texas Street was demolished this Sunday. This building, which is owned by DSDC2 Inc., has been condemned due to major structural problems.

Equipment is on location at the parking lot adjacent to that building now and a demolition permit has been issued. Workmen have advised that the entire building is scheduled to be completely torn down and the debris removed on Sunday, weather permitting. DSDC2 is paying the demolition expenses.

This location has been the subject of "50 Cent" talk, --that being that the lot may be donated to Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson for development. The building location and its adjacent parking lot could be the site of new construction and/or a parking lot to complement American Tower, which has also been subject of "50 Cent" talk.
