COMING IN NEXT TWO YEARS FOR SHREVEPORT BOSSIER--5700 NEW JOBS AND A DATA CENTER

Dr. Loren Scott addressed an overflow crowd this morning at the Caddo-Bossier Port. This presentation was sponsored locally by the Port and The Committee of 100. Most of the Shreveport top business leaders were in attendance.

Dr. Scott forecast 5700 new well paying jobs that should land in Shreveport in the next two years. He also said that there was much hussed talk of a data center in the same time frame. Scott said key people in LED, SWEPCO, and other business/government officials had signed Non-Disclosure Agreements on this possibility.

More info about his forecasts will be published in a future Settle Talk. Stay tuned.
