The Oak Meadows Apartments on Centenary Boulevard is Shreveport's fire pit. The Shreveport Fire Department has responded to 9 fires at these apartments this year--4 of them this month.
On April 3, the apartments changed hands. Oak Meadow Apartments LLC. purchased the 7.9 acres tract with municipal number 1901 Centenary Boulevard.
The purchase price was $850,000.
The manager and owner/member of the limited liability company that purchased the complex is James Villarroel of Fort Lauderdale, Florida
John came to Shreveport in January of 1977 when he was transferred to Barksdale AFB.
He’s been active in Shreveport politics since deciding to make Shreveport his home.
John practiced law for 40 years and he now monitors local politics. He regularly attends Shreveport City Council and Caddo Parish Commission meetings.
