CITY OF SHREVEPORT'S CAPITAL PROJECTS LINK IS SUPER IMPRESSIVE

It was a bit hard to find for me --a computer challenged nerd. But once I did, VIOLA!
To find the link:

1. Go to the City of Shreveport homepage.
2. Skip the first block entitled Capital Projects
3. Scroll down past the pictures of the council members
4. Under News Carousel, click on Capital Projects Site

Now I have learned the easier way-- just click https://capitalprojects.shreveportla.gov/.

Be prepared to be overwhelmed.

The list of FAQ (frequently asked questions) is quite helpful. Even more helpful are the breakdowns of the 141 active bond projects and the 131 bond projects in design.

These projects are listed by council districts and by type of bond projects---facilities, vehicles & equipment, sewer, stormwater, streets. parks, and water.

This site provides detailed project timelines, progress updates and the positive impact each of these initiatives will have on neighborhoods. These projects are funded by the Renew Shreveport 2024 Bond Program.

The Arceneaux’s commitment to transparency is certainly evidenced by this pioneering website link. The Mayor has promised this will be an active site and updated on a regular basis.
