CADDO PARISH $10 MILLION PICKLEBALL COMPLEX ON ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE AGENDA FOR MONDAY AUGUST 4

At its only July meeting the Caddo Commission agenda included approval of construction of a  $10 million pickleball complex. After comments from speakers and discussion by commissioners, this agenda item was remanded back to the Economic Development Committee.

This committee will meet this next Monday, August 4, at 2 p.m. The meeting, which is expected to draw many citizens, will be held in the chambers at Government Plaza.

Fortunately, the ambient temperature forecast for this weekend and Monday is somewhat cooler than the 100 plus heat index days recently. Nonetheless, this project remains a "hot" topic of discussion among citizens and commissioners.
