CADDO COMMISSION IS IN A PICKLE ON PROPOSED PICKLEBALL COMPLEX

Today at 2 pm the Caddo Parish Economic Development Committee meets to discuss the proposed $10 million pickleball complex to be built with revenue bonds.  The full Commission bounced the ball BACK to this committee after receiving the committee's recommendation to approve the project.

How today's  committee meeting goes is anyone's question. And speaking of questions, the media blitz by the Commission administration and the two pickleball demonstration meetings have not resolved many citizen concerns. Some say the more talk the more confusion.

Below you will find two postings by the Commission which may part the clouds or make them darker. Much of this information was prompted by several Settle Talk columns that pointed out the "hard" questions that needed answers. To a great extent this information does address these issues.
