Before a fundraiser last evening (Thurs.), Shreveport Councilwowman Ursula Bowman’s campaign account had a balance of less than $500.
Now the account is over $50,000.
FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS were donated for her reelection campaign this week!
And guess what? More checks are expected by the end of the month.
This haul of big bucks is the largest ever for a council race raised in one event.
