BOSSIER CITY HOLDS UP FUNDING OF NON-COMPLIANT NORTHWEST LA UNITED WAY

At yesterday’s Bossier City council meeting, city officials reported that the United Way of Northwest Louisiana was listed as non-compliant by the Louisiana Legislative Auditor for failing to file 2024 reports.

As a result, funding approved for the United Way in the city’s 2026 budget will be withheld until this deficiency is resolved.

The Bossier City Council  directed city officials to check for Louisiana Legislature Auditor compliance before any future funding of any non-governmental organizations.
