The City of Shreveport levies a 2.75% sales and use tax and operates on a calendar fiscal year. Its March revenue is up a solid 9.7%% vs 2025, $13,581,198 vs $12,377,525. YTD it reflects $41,413,718 vs $40,619,448 a year ago, a 2.0% gain.
The Caddo Parish School Board imposes its 1.5% sales tax on the July 1 to June 30 school board fiscal year. For March its tally of $9,332,933 is a large 15.2% over its $8,103,221 in 2025. YTD in 9 fiscal months, its total of $84,102,905 is 4.1% above the $80,765,582 it had collected in its prior fiscal year.
The Law Enforcement District of Caddo, the Sheriff, levies a 0.35% tax rate in a calendar fiscal year. March is 15.2% more than 2025, $2,178,338 vs $1,890,938 a year back. back. YTD its $6,573,604 deposit is 5.0% more than 2025's $6,259,534.
Bossier City-Parish received $5,306,18 in March, 4.6% above last year's $5,073,511. It uses a calendar fiscal year. YTD its $16,761,279 rises 0.4% ahead of its $16,688,090 a year ago.
Bossier Parish School Board, 3/4 through a July 1 to June 30 fiscal year, is 1.0% higher than a like prior fiscal period. It has gathered $53,741,032 vs $53,224,746. In March, however, its $5,755,715 is a robust 12.2% uptick over $5,131,318 in 2025.
