Trinicia Leonard to Oppose Shreveport City Judge Sims Reelection

My name is Trinicia Shalise Leonard, and I am honored to be a candidate for Shreveport City Court Judge, Division D.

For more than nine years, I have served our community in the courtroom- as a former Caddo Parish Prosecutor and now as criminal defense and family law attorney. Throughout my career, I have represented victims, families, and individuals facing some of the most difficult moments of their lives. These experiences have shaped my commitment to fairness, professionalism, and respect for every person who enters the courtroom.

Shreveport City Court plays a vital role in the daily lives of our citizens. It is often where people first experience the justice system. That experience should be one of dignity, efficiency, and confidence-not confusion or frustration. I am running for Judge because I believe our community deserves a court that reflects stability, accountability, and trust.

As a wife, mother, and public servant, I understand the real-world impact court decisions have on families. I will bring not only legal experience, but also compassion, patience, and strong judicial temperament to the bench. My goal is to ensure that every case is handled thoughtfully, fairly, and according to the law.

I am committed to serving with integrity and strengthening the public confidence in our courts. I believe judges should apply the law faithfully, treat people respectfully, and maintain the highest ethical standards at all times.

I respectfully ask for your support and your vote for Shreveport City Court Judge, Division D. Together, we can continue building a court system our community can trust.

Thank you for your consideration and encouragement. Your support means more than you know.

Sincerely,
