SUSPENDED CITY JUDGE SHEVA SIMS HAS FUNDRAISER TOMORROW

Shreveport city judge Sheva Sims has been suspended through late December of this year.

She can qualify to run for re-election.

She has kicked off a reelection campaign with a website and a scheduled fundraiser to tomorrow May 5.

Evidently Sims believes her second suspension from the city court bench should not derail her campaign to continue her disservice to Shreveport residents.

Her campaign kickoff raises ethical questions that will be directed to state officials.

Those who donate to Sims' campaign will be publicized when the first campaign reports are filed later this year.

The fact that she may return to the bench will put pressure on attorneys who regularly  practice in city court which is a future injustice to the legal system.
