The veto period for Louisiana Governor Jeff Landy has now run and the red ink can now be tallied.
Here is a list of local appropriations in House Bill 1 that the Gov has vetoed:
1. Huntington High Film and Entertainment Certification Program
2. District 3 ) infrastructure improvements and SPAR travel track team
3. Smiley Xtreme Measured Inc. mixed housing and commercial development project
4. Lighthouse Residency Hubs for Cedar Grove Friendship House, Mt. Olive Baptist Church, and Williams Memorial CME Temple
5. Made In America Initiative
6. Martin Luther King Community Development Corporation
The vetoes total $1,585,100.
