According to VARIETY, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson will serve as the executive producer for a TV adaptation of “Payday” video games under G-Unit Film & Television.
The “Payday” video game series is a cooperative first-person shooter where players coordinate high-stakes heists and robberies while fighting off law enforcement.
The show will be produced in conjunction with Vice Studios and video game studio Starbreeze Entertainment.
Jackson was quoted saying “G-Unit Film & TV has bult cinematic crime stories that connect with audiences around the world. Teaming up with Vice Studios and bringing the world of “Payday” to the screen gives us the chance to build something big, a high-energy franchise that pushes the heist genre forward.”
Jackson previously executive produced and starred as Kanan Stark in the “Power” franchise for Starz. He also stars as Balrog in the upcoming “Street Fighter” film, which is set for release on Oct. 16, 2026.
