WHAT DO SHERIFF WHITEHORN AND MAYORAL CANDIDATE STORMY HAVE IN COMMON

Caddo Sheriff Henry Whitehorn has just announced his endorsement of Caddo Commissioner Stormy Gage-Watts for Shreveport mayor in the Nov. 3 election.

Many are asking why he endorsed her.

Other than both being African Americans, Whitehorn and Gage-Watts have at least three commonalities that may be factors in the endorsement:

1. Both the high sheriff and Stormy have the stamp of approval/support of backroom political puppet master Lynn Braggs who has profited many times from his political ties with the award of public contracts.

2. Both Whitehorn and Gage-Watts LIVE outside  the Shreveport city limits.

3. Former Shreveport city councilman Rev. Theron Jackson has endorsed both Sheriff Henry and Commissioner Stormy.

This endorsement will be closely scrutinized during this election.
