WHEN WILL WORK START ON THE G-DOME AND WATER REPAIR AT G-UNIT STUDIOS

On the G-Unit, mum is the word from G-Unit spokespersons who do not respond to any inquiries on Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson and his G-Unit Studios.

The Shreveport MPC approved a height variance and a site plan for the G-Dome in June.

To date, no construction permits have been issued for the G-Dome construction by the Shreveport Permit Department.

Shreveport Mayor Tom Arceneaux stated on KSLA yesterday that additional work must be accomplished to prevent water intrusions into Millennium Studios aka G-Unit Studios.

The lease by the City to G-Unit is an “As Is” lease which seemingly relieves the city from any remedial work on the G-Unit site and leased buildings.

The mayor did NOT indicate it the City or G-Unit would bear the cost of any additional water intrusion labors.

A request has been made to city attorney Marcus Edwards regarding this issue.
