For years downtown advocates have complained about the Hakim properties in downtown Shreveport that have remained vacant with no renovation: the Slattery Building on Marshall, the Johnson Building on Milam and the old Panos Diner building on Milam.
The Hakim entities also own the Lane Building on Marshall, the downtown tent former bus depot on Crockett, and the red brick building on Texas formerly the First National Bank building.
These properties are now listed on the website of Marcus & Millsap which also has two other Shreveport listings.
The listing prices are:
Slattery Building $2.2 million, $10 PSF
Johnson Building $1.5 million, $20 PSF
Bus Depot/tent $1.8 million
Lane Building $1.5 million, $13 PSF
Red brick building/First National Bank building $4.5 million, $22 PSF
These listings certainly impact the downtown real estate market.
