Hopefully all readers are familiar with the widely reported flooding issues at the former Millennium Studios now G-Unit Studios.
On talk radio yesterday (Sept. 9), Mayor Tom was asked about the status of filming at G-Unit Studios.
He replied that “we are working on a solution to water problems at the studios which is our responsibility.”
Hmmm.
The lease for the studios is "AS IS" and was executed long before the flooding occurred.
So why must the city now fix the problem?
After the most recent deluge that allowed water entry into the studios the city did install additional drains on the studio lot, although many question if this was legally required.
An email was sent earlier today to CAO Tom Dark and City Attorney Marcus Edwards to explain why the city is responsible for water problems, and their responses will be published.
Now that Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson have become Instagram/Settle Talk buds, this issue has been added to the list of issues to discuss over dinner with 50 if the city still takes the position of “responsibility”.
Who knows, this issue may be resolved by that dinner date (which has yet to be set) and it will not be part of the dinner table talk. After all, starring roles for yours truly is a top discussion priority.
