This Sat. April 29 Shreveport citizens can vote to re-authorize six ad valorem tax millages that have been on the books for many, many years.The Perkins' administration let these millages expire, even though they included the anticipated $11.

This past Tues. the Shreveport city council had it regularly scheduled meeting at 3 p.m. in the chambers at Government Plaza.Commissioner Steven Jackson is chair of the Commission's Juvenile Justice Committee.For some Inexplicable reason, Jackson scheduled this committee meeting at 3:30 p.m.
