UNRAVELING THE SHREVEPORT MARDI GRAS PARADE CONUNDRUM

The continuing saga over the Mardi Gras parades of the Krewes of Gemini and Centaur has yet to be resolved. The ten year contracts of both Krewes with the city of Shreveport have expired. Shreveport Mayor Adrian Perkins has announced that the parades will be allowed in the next Mardi Gras season.

GREAT NEW SEATS AND CONFIGURATION AT RIVERVIEW HALL

In the pre-Covid days, a trip to Shreveport’s RiverView Hall was like going to a Chinese torture chamber if one was seated on the main floor. If you really like your knees or maybe had not really looked at them closely, the very tight seating arrangement put them in your face.
