Check Out Donors To Disgraced Judicial Candidate Sheva Sims

Suspended Shreveport City Judge Sheva Sims hopes to be re-elected this year despite serving her second suspension without pay from the Louisiana Supreme Court, this one lasts nine months and ends in mid-December.

An examination of her campaign finance report for the period of Jan. 1, 2026 through Sept. 24, 2026 is telling.

To her credit she listed expenditures for campaign T-shirts, unlike mayoral candidate Stormy Gage-Watts who handed out campaign tee shirts but listed no expenses for them.

Sheriff Whitehorn’s campaign committee donated $500.

Local attorneys supporting Sims include Alex Washington, Henry N. Brown Jr., Jackson & Young Law Group, Ron Miciotto and Shante’ Wells.

Other notable campaign donors include Caddo School Board member Jasmine Green, Rev. Theron Jackson,  Pastor Danny Mitchell Jr., Paul Pratt, Caddo Commissioner/Shreveport mayoral candidate Stormy Gage-Watts, and Richard Foster.
