In a widely publicized podcast Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson criticized city hall officials for not working with him.
Presumably Jackson overlooked the fact that the city has assumed responsibility for water remediation at Millenium Studios despite the “AS IS” lease to Jackson.
Additionally, Jackson may not be aware that two of his downtown properties violate the downtown property standards ordinance, and he has not been cited for these violations.
Maybe the podcast was intended to justify 50’s failure to comply with the lease terms for productions/events at Expo Hall or his failure to follow up on his announced plans to turn the downtown area into Las Vegas South.

To his credit Mayor Arceneaux stated on a local talk radio show that his call to Jackson has not been returned and that he will be happy to have a sit-down face to face meeting with him or communicate by phone.
Mayor Tom made it clear that podcasts and Instagram would not be communication mediums with Jackson.
Hat’s off to the mayor for not doing any more cuddling up to 50.
