John came to Shreveport in January of 1977 when he was transferred to Barksdale AFB.

He’s been active in Shreveport politics since deciding to make Shreveport his home.

John practiced law for 40 years and he now monitors local politics. He regularly attends Shreveport City Council and Caddo Parish Commission meetings.

John is published weekly in The Inquisitor, bi-monthly in The Forum News, and frequently in the Shreveport Times.

He enjoys addressing civic groups on local government issues and elections.

 

KCS TRAINS WILL START SPEEDING UP THIS MONTH

Whoo! Whoo! Bossier City residents will soon have less to worry about when trains block their way in the coming weeks.

Beginning Sunday, April 12, and continuing through the first half of May, Kansas City Southern Railway Company (KCS) will increase the speeds of its trains on a 1.8-mile length of track between the Benton Road Overpass and Barksdale Air Force Base from 20 to 49 miles per hour.
