CADDO COMMISSION TO CONTINUE ZOOM MEETINGS

Government Plaza opens on Mon. May 18 under phase one COVID guidelines.

The Caddo Commission has its regular administrative conference/work session on Monday and its regular meeting on Thurs.

Many commissioners expressed some concerns for safety during the first week of operations under the guidelines. Commission president Mario Chavez  decided to conduct next week’s meetings by ZOOM as they have been previously in the pandemic.

Chavez hopes the June Commission meetings will be back in the chambers at Government Plaza.

The next meeting(s) for the Shreveport city council will be the last week of the month. Councilman Flurry will probably still be in Baylor Hospital for treatment although he can participate in a Zoom meeting. A decision of the council meeting has not been made.
